Senior partner James Freeman began practice in 1972 and formed his current firm in 2003, bringing over 35 years of experience with law firms and corporate legal departments to the practice. Mr. Freeman selectively assembled the current staff of attorneys, combining the skills of veteran attorneys with the energy and innovation of talented young lawyers to build a practice that allow clients to experience both personalized attention and quality service throughout the course of their association with the firm.
Mr. Freeman and the firm’s other lawyers have appeared as guest speakers before many organizations both in Tennessee and around the country, they have appeared as instructors in continuing legal education programs for their peers, and they have written articles on topics including product liability, effective product warnings, risk management, mediation, arbitration, workers compensation defense, accident investigation and litigation management. The firm’s attorneys practice in all local, state and federal courts in Tennessee and our attorneys have been admitted to practice for specific cases in the courts of more than 10 other states, including Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Nevada, California, Kentucky, Louisiana, and others.
